Thank you for transforming our garden and pool area from an unloved, untidy and uninspiring space into an amazing area that defines ‘wow factor’.

The design process captured all of our must haves and added thoughtful touches and beautiful elements to create something new and exciting, which still works in harmony with the character of the existing Grade II listed surroundings.

Designer Garden Rooms

At Wooburn Landscapes we now offer a full service of Designer Garden Rooms. If you have never considered one of these beautiful properties, please do. We did a lot of research and we now know that the biggest requirement, especially in our core area of business of London, is that clients want extra space. As our families grow, a garden house becomes the perfect solution to creating this space – without needing to erect a full house extension, which can be very expensive and time consuming.

Many of our clients are delighted when we tell them that our bespoke service will allow them to have their very own private, stylish space in almost any garden.

And in turn, clients of Wooburn landscape always delight us in how they intend to use their garden rooms – no two clients are ever the same!

This is why we offer a full and diverse range of designer garden rooms. We can look to add insulation to the walls, ideal if you will be spending a lot of time out there, we can add extra strength to the floor if you want your garden room to moonlight as a gym, and for smaller properties we can look to create a slim design garden house that doesn’t need soffits or overhangs, maximising the impact without requiring you to have 1000 hectares of space!

Why not explore some of the garden rooms we have fitted?

We’ve fitted saunas and gyms into them, made playrooms and mini bars and games rooms, and we love hearing about how happy our clients are with the finished look of the garden room.

We make every house bespoke to your own needs, and we can provide the full service to make it a wonderful space, including the right lighting on the exterior, perfect for late night wines outside (perhaps on your new decking!) and we can also create a perfect mood by using the right accessories around your new designer garden room.

We pride ourselves on our full service, and we ensure that you are as involved as you want to be throughout the process, and we work to an allotted timescale – because we work on Thames Valley, London, Bucks and beyond, we know that you want to capture the best of the British sunshine outside your new garden home whilst you can!

No problem is too big and no query is too small for us, so if you want a bespoke garden home, do Get In Touch. We love a new challenge and can’t wait to hear about your big plans!

Welcome To Our New Website

It’s an exciting time for all of us here at Wooburn Landscapes as we have just launched our brand new website!

We wanted to create an easy to navigate, clean and simple website that showed just what we offer and local web design firm, Big Gun Digital helped us achieve just that (a big thanks to them!).

We’ve made our images really big, because we get so many comments on them when people see what we can do it seemed only right that we showed them in all their glory!

And already the phones have been ringing and our email inbox has been very full indeed.

We’ve had requests to look at patios, calls about lighting, questions about fencing and texts about trellises.

In short, we are very busy indeed! However we still have time for you. Whatever you need your garden to look like, we are confident that our team can help you create the stunning landscape space that you desire.

We have over 5 years’ experience working all over London and the Thames Valley, so if you know someone in the area who is looking to transform their garden or outdoor space, please do pass on our details!

Landscaping Brief: To add style to an underused garden, creating an inviting space to eat and socialise in.

Project Summary:  Before we started the project the back garden was immaculate but lacking any particular style. The space was large but often unused. The clients has a seating area, but felt it needed more exciting features within it so it would be a welcoming place to spend long Summer evenings.

The front garden also mimicked the back garden before we began our redesign, as the space was vast, yet very plain with no features. The design scoped out maintaining the bulk of the front garden and adding in elements to create a finished look, whilst using the majority of our resources at the back garden to create a stunning, modern redesign.

Before Wooburn started work, we assessed the colour scheme. The tiles used outside were square and white, which had become weathered and needed vast upkeep. There was also a distinct stopping point from patio to garden which they wanted to eliminate. Our first redesign was of the front garden, and a few birch saplings were placed at intervals across the existing lawn to create height and texture.

Turning to the back garden, we chose low water absorbing natural black slate tiles  as the ideal materials for the seating and dining area and for the planters we chose bricks with a blue engineering brick capping, because they are inherently frost resistant. We placed the new patio tiles in a space outside the house leading naturally into the garden, with a mix of evergreen trees to inject colour, texture and scents into the outdoor space.

We added extra touches that would add interest to the large space without detracting from it’s expanse. A circular reflecting pool and bbq were placed near the chairs and tables, providing a dual use space for both relaxation in the day, as well as evening entertaining. Oak walkways made from beams provide dimension without stealing the show of the garden, and the mix of the slate and grass, brick and sharp lines created a very minimalist garden with plenty to look at.

Garden Design Flackwell Heath

Mrs H.D, Beaconsfield

Client: Mrs H.D

Location: Beaconsfield

Landscaping Brief: The clients had a  vast space of land but it lacked the colour and warmth. The design scope was to use elements of a traditional English garden to add interest and vibrancy.

Project Summary:  The brief was to create a stunning English country garden redesign that could make the most of the vast amounts of space, creating areas that were designed to be meandered through on a warm day, but easy to maintain in the cooler months.

We started our redesign by looking at the flowers and shrubs that would make up the bulk of the redesign. Carefully chosen planting injects colour, texture and scents into the outdoor space so it was key that the design incorporated as many scents and types of plant as possible.

We used many varieties of ornamental grasses for a natural feel and the main planting colour theme is was purple, with perennial wall flowers all along the circular sides of the garden used to create a very full effect.

A trellis was added in the mid point of the garden to terrace and divide the spaces into more intimate areas.

Towards the front of the house, anew sandstone path with specially designed planters opens up the walkway into the garden and provides a lovely vantage point to enjoy the scenery.

The result is the garden looks full and interesting, whilst the main areas for maintenance are the shrubs and plants along the borders, a deceptively simple redesign.
